Billy

Billy has now found a home !!

progress update: 18/06/2016

He has settled in perfectly with the other two now.
He is getting better off the lead, we have been doing some one on one whistle training with him and he is taking it on board.
He is not spending so much time on tables and worktops!
He has the most loving nature and is brilliant with kids and other dogs

Cara & Candy

BOTH REHOMED !!

progress update on Cara: 18/06/2016

Cara update – we adopted Cara a month ago.
She’s still a bit nervous around people and other dogs but she’s getting much better.
Turns out she has grass allergies but she absolutely loves the beach so is getting plenty of runs down there.
Cara comes to work with me every day, due to her cute factor she’s receiving a whole lot of attention from her fast growing adoring fan club.
She’s such a beautiful, intelligent little monkey and we’re very lucky to have found her and be able to give her a new family

Maisie

NOW REHOMED !!

progress update: 15/05/2016

Just to let you know that Daisy is doing really well.
She has slept right through the night from outset with no bother at all.
I’ve weaned her off tinned food, so she is just having dried food now.
We go to the vet on Wednesday. She is great with Olly and other children but still barking at other dogs of her size and bigger.
She has got to know a few smaller dogs (on the lead) without much fuss. We’ll try the bigger ones later.
I know that there are dog socialisation classes which meet outside in the forest.
I’m hoping that the vet can tell me of one locally.
She is brilliant with her ball (actually we use two) and it gives her a proper work out up and down our long garden.
This morning, she was chasing around the garden on her own – I guess it’s the collie in her – enjoying the sunshine.
As I am typing this, she is stretched out on the floor at my feet, with one ear open.
I gave her name on the phone to the vet earlier and she came straight to me!
I left her yesterday morning for 40 minutes on her own (she’d had a good walk first) and she was fine.
We are working at keeping her off the sofa – she is pretty good if we are around but will not miss a chance if we are not looking!
At least we can shut the door on the sitting room when we are not in there.
She has also spent time with my mum and seems happy at either location.
She is just happy being with people.

Wilf the lurcher pup

REHOMED !!

Just a quick update on Wilf who’s doing great, he goes everywhere with us and yesterday we took them to Durdle Door.
We have a little remote control beep collar on him that we use when we are riding the horses to get his attention and it’s brilliant and saves lots of calling and whistling lol so we tend to use in when we go out in crowded places.
Anyway here are a few pics.

Pugsy

Pugsy has now found a home !!

Pugsy is three years old and very obviously a Pug.
As you can see she has one leg missing due to an attack by another dog before she came into the Rescue.

She is a lovely girl and after initial uncertainty meeting the other dogs here she has settled in well with them.
She is quiet at night and clean in the house.
She is a character as all Pugs are and lovely with it.
She has been settling in and getting used to life here before she comes on a walk with the others.
They can all be a bit raucous when out so I wanted her to settle in and get to know them all well before coming on an adventure with us.
She will be out with us over the weekend.
More to follow on her progress once she has been on a walk.
