Murphy

Murphy has now found a home !!

Murphy has gone to live with DAWGdog Freya at her house.

Mungo has been to see Stella at “Always There Pet Care Groomers” for a wash and brush up and is looking even more handsome!
Stella spent three hours de- matting and beautifying Murphy and she did this free of charge!
Thank you Stella!!

Teddy

Teddy has found a home !!

Teddy has been with us for a week now and has shown to be a happy, friendly and tolerant dog.
When he gets too close to our grumpy Oscar and Oscar has a snap at him he just runs away and comes to look for reassurance, a quick stroke and a kind word are usually enough to reassure him and he settles down.

For the few times I had him off the lead his recall call was fine.
When I arrive home he is so excited he almost jumps up into my arms.
And boy can he jump, he can get over a tall stairgate!!

He is fine with our dog friendly cat, I even had both of them waiting on the bottom stair for me when I opened the front door.
(He had jumped the stairgate).
He will chase her when she is on the floor but she just jumps out of his reach and she is certainly not frightened of him.

Teddy has just been castrated which has put paid to his jumping for a while.

All in all a super little dog and a pleasure to foster.

Teddy arrived in as a stray and not claimed.
He is approx three years old, gets on brilliantly with other dogs,
is good off the lead and taking his orders from the cat who rules the roost in the foster home he is staying in.

Nico

Nico has now found a home !!

This is Nico who owners have not returned for him after boarding him in kennels.

He is a lovely boy, very strong and not over keen on other dogs.
He will need an experienced home that will work with him on this.
What a shame that he has been abandoned and lucky for him that he is with people at a boarding kennels who want to help him find a good home

Oscar (a.k.a Durlow, a.k.a Boy)

REHOMED !!

progress update: 08/11/2015

Hi Helen I thought it was about time I updated you on Oscar’s progress.

We have had Oscar with us now for over a year and after a tricky start he has become a fantastic dog, full of life and energy with masses of character.
He charms every one he meets, is great with children and other dogs and will chase a ball for ages at top speed(which is pretty fast).
At the allotment shop that I run he has his own fan club who all have to see and play with him every weekend.

Thank you so much for letting him come to us.

Mike
