Skip McDuff has had a bath although he still resembles the sheep dog in the specsavers ad lol
If you can offer him a new hair do and a loving home please call us

Tric is settling in with Pat and she will send in a write up once he has settled.
He is a lovely dog who gets on with other dogs and children.
Skip McDuff arrived at silly o’clock this morning,
he is a delightful Scottish terrier, young male, travels well, good on and off his lead, great with other dogs
A really nice little chap, I think about one year old possibly two,
photos don’t do him justice as he is sporting a bad hair cut

Hi Helen,
We adopted Prince on 5th June, 2011 and I’m sorry that we haven’t been in touch.
He is a real character and we all love him even though he is quite a pickle!
Please see attached seasonal photo of Prince looking cute.
He is really excited about Christmas and has lots of pressies under the tree.
Hoping you and your helpers are well and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

Freddie keeping warm under his blanket
He has had a great weekend out riding with the horse, trip to the garden centre, was very popular with everyone and even got a cheeky sausage

Unfortunately Freddie is looking for a new home following his previous owners decline in health.
Fred is approx. 6 years old, male neutered Jack Russell.
His foster Mum Jane says: I have looked after Fred many times over the past year or so and he is a great little dog,
clean in the house and great with my two girls , Fred is very active and loves his walks, he can pull on the lead,
is good off lead but becomes a little deaf around squirrels his a typical terrier not keen on cats.
Fred is very affectionate and loves a cuddle (preferably under the duvet!!)

Had a nice walk, even got my paws wet ,home to get cosy and warm then I’m having a Spa afternoon,
warm bath, massage and moisturise.
Having a lovely play with my new pal Rita, think we will be besties
xx Smurffy
Smurffy is a charming young dog, still very much a puppy, needs lots of time and cuddles,
not keen on winter walks, needs warm clothes indoors and out, good skin care and bathing,
he plays wildly them crashes in all sort of positions.
He will need basic training but walks on his lead and is nearly toilet trained I think any relapse is due to his recent move and just need showing where the latrines are.
Enjoys his dentistix in the afternoon and loves his food, gets on well with other dogs once over his initial shyness,
he likes boxing, standing on his back legs and punching the air, its a crestie thing,
if you would like to be adopted by Smurffy please phone us.
Please be aware these dogs are addictive

We do find that Tess is such a joy and life wouldn’t be the same without her.
She is a real character now and thoroughly enjoys her walks.
We do the early morning one with the two Yorkies next door and although they are only pint sized,
they have appointed themselves her protector and woe betide anyone who tries to get near her rear!
She loves her beds, particularly the one in the conservatory where she can see everything in the garden and yet have access to the rest of the house.
She still follows me everywhere but if I go out she then follows John and she often sleeps on his feet and he loves it.
Her tail wags constantly, much to everyone’s amusement.
Her coat looks good and she has lovely soft fur on her tummy where she was shaved before the operations.
She has come out of her shell and occasionally enjoys rolling along the carpet on her back and being quite frisky.
Early morning walks are fun for her as she has the company of next door’s two Yorkies, and there are plenty of other dogs for her to meet in the fields nearby.
We often come back wet and muddy but she really enjoys being dried.
She has settled down so well and enjoys walking in the fields off the lead, and occasionally has a little run which is good to see, but generally stays quite close to me.
She is sociable with other dogs and people but I really think she likes the quiet life, and as long as John or I are at home she is quite happy.
All in all she is a lovely dog and a wonderful companion and we hope she enjoys being with us as much as we enjoy having her.
We were sorry not to be able to get to the Show as it would have been lovely to have met the lady from Ireland who rescued Tess,
but I understand from the web site that it was a great success.
Best wishes
Rita

Mog (aka puppa roo) had a great time on our walk today, her and her sister have settled in very well, the are very sweet friendly little girls, they love everyone and everyone that has met them out and about have loved them.
They are good at night and brilliant off lead, not keen on their first bath but I was forgiven with lots of hugs and kisses after, these girls are lots of fun and so loving.

Hally sleepy after her walk today

Hally and her sister Mog are four months old and a mixture of lots of types gorgeous dogs.
They have settled in amazingly quickly with Jane and Daisy and have already been off the lead on their walk.
They are full of life and fun and instantly adored by all that have met them.
