Hi Helen
I thought you would like to know how well Cyril is doing.
Basic training is going well he now sits and waits for his food, will sit to have his lead put on and is responding to commands to leave the cat (shame we can’t train the cat to stop hissing and spitting at him!) and is coming in from the garden when called.
We are having to be very consistent with him as he definitely has a wilful streak and will turn away if he wants to ignore you.
He really is a much loved addition to our family and I am really noticing the benefit of our daily early morning walks.
Thank you to all who helped to rescue him
Ann.

Hi Helen
Cyril is settling in well, he is a real joy.
Everyone loves him except our cat!
He has had a trip to the vet and treatment for struvite crystals but this seems to have settled now.
Kind regards Ann

Another casualty of internet selling of dogs.
This is Co Co 13 weeks old and adorable.
She is now fostering with Claire who has clearly fallen in love despite what she says

Geoff has now had Babar for a two weeks and has reported that he is a delightful dog.
Getting on well with his dogs and putting up with going to the pub with Geoff every evening for socialisation. Babar is accepting with good spirit all the yakking on and on that Geoff and his cronies indulge in every evening.
Babar will need an active home as stated before and not with young children because in his enthusiasm to say Hello he will knock them for six like ten pin bowling pins.
Small screaming humans are not fond of this and their parents less so as Babar realises but just can’t help himself in the rush to say Hello to new people.

Babar is a 15 month old Weimaraner, very good with other dogs and people.
Bouncy and lively and loves to play.
He will need an active home.
More to follow as he settles in with his foster Dad.

Hi Helen
Just to update you on how I am getting on. I am now coming up to 16 years old I think.
You rescued me from the pound 3 1/2 years ago when somebody left me tied to a park bench and I went to my foster home with Carol and Steve.
They fell in love with me and I have been there ever since, with my other Dawgdog friend Meg.
I am getting a bit wobbly now and my back legs don’t always do what I want, so I can’t do long walks anymore, but I still enjoy my walks and still manage to run after the balls in the field, I try to get there before Meg, she is younger and faster, but when she sees me coming she usually lets me have it.
I love it when the grandchildren come to visit, they always drop food, which I manage to catch and they love to cuddle and brush me, they have even taken me to school to meet their classroom friends and teachers, I had a great time, lots of attention.
I have added some up to date photos of myself and also Meg having a run in the field with the ball and as you can see I am enjoying old age.
Thanks
Tess

Hello Helen,
I am very happy in my new home and have settled in very quickly.
John and Lynn are very impressed by my good behaviour,
and I have not had any accidents at all which they are particularly pleased about.
I went to the vets last Monday and had my first vaccination and am going back next Monday for my follow-up.
I’ve been walking up to work with Lynn and I have made new friends with loads of other dogs that I meet on the way.
It’s a brisk 20 minute walk but I have to slow down every now and again to let her catch up with me, but I don’t say anything – that’s humans for you!
I have attached a photo of myself having my tummy tickled which i just what I like after a long day at the office.
Please pass on my thanks to Pat for looking after me and taking me to the groomers to take my old coat off. The new one is growing back really well now, and John is taking me for a bath and a trim in a couple of weeks.
Please also thank Jackie for taking care of me while I was waiting for a new family.
John and Lynn have decided to change my name to Teddy, so you may need to let the chipping people know.
Thank you for everything.
Woofs and licks,
Teddy (formerly Tad)
