Teddy

REHOMED !!

progress update: 02/06/2017

Hi Helen, it’s a year ago today that I came across Teddy in the local park, with his foster carer,
and rushed home to respond to your facebook post about him needing a new home.
That day changed my life, Teddy has grown in confidence and has become the most adorable little dog
– and I think I am a better person for having him with me.
He’s the perfect pet.
I am so grateful, thank you, Sarah

Bob

Bob has now found a home !!

progress update: 23/05/2017

Update from Gemma ……
We have spent two weekends fostering this lovely dog.
Bob is a timid boy at first but we have seen his confidence grow.
He dislikes small spaces and being picked up.
However, when he approaches you for a cuddle he is very affectionate and enjoys the attention.
He is great with other dogs and good with children.
He would be a perfect family pet.

Bob was a farm dog so used to other animals.
The farmer who he lived with was already training up a collie and didn’t have time to train Bob as well.
Bob is good with other dogs and loves people.
He is clean in the house too.
He has discovered toys and likes to bounce a empty flower pot around the garden.
Bob is a year old and a very nice, friendly and affectionate dog

Scruff

REHOMED !!

We thought we’d send a photo of Scruffy – now about 17!
You rescued her from Ireland and she was fostered by Collette (who cared for her and her pups).
She loves looking out the window – as you can see in photo – although she doesn’t see or hear so well now.
She doesn’t like walks much anymore either – but we have a big garden for her now and she loves pottering and sniffing about still.

We would love to rescue again from DAWG’s – but now Scruff is such an old girl it would need to be a very special Scruffy companion for an elderly lady!
We will keep an eye on the website,

And thank you once again for putting us together with Scruff, all those years ago,

Dave, Rachel and Scruffy Crennell

Kerry

Kerry has now found a home !!

Kerry was poor boy kept in a horse box – how very sad for a young dog to be kept confined with just a scrap of blanket to lie on.

He is two years old, gets on great with other dogs and even though arriving thin enough to make his head look too big for his body he is now starting to fatten up and his coat is starting to have a lovely gloss to it.
He has been spending a lot of time with Jane going on long walks discovering the joys of life outside a horse box.
At first he was frightened of everything around him and bolted into a bush where he stayed for 20 mins with Jane waiting patiently for him to get the courage up to come out again.
He did when a dog walked past and he wanted to say Hello to it.
He has been off the lead for the first time since his first walk and wants to stick close to Jane.
What a lovely natured boy he is always friendly to people and dogs he meets.
