RESULTS !

DAWGdog Dogs Of The Year 2008

First Prize was won by Lillie who lives with the Hurcombe family.

She is a lurcher cross fostered by them five years ago when she was only five weeks old and arrived at the Rescue very ill with pneumonia.

Second Prize was won by Ozzie,

a golden lab cross looked after by Jane Ferguson.

Ozzie had been badly treated in Ireland

( he was actually brought into the Irish rescue by his original owner locked in the boot of a car

as if that was a normal way to transport a dog )

He was very difficult at first and bit a few people

because he was very nervous.

At the Show he helped on the DAWGdogs stall

and behaved impeccably all day long.
