has lived with older children.
He is a super little chap willing to learn and eager to please.

They have come to us as a result of a marriage break up.
They have both been much loved family pets and have settled into their foster homes very well.

Finker ( now called COOKIE) has settled in with us and is getting along fine with the grumpy old blind Jack Russell, the 2 cats, 2 children and 4 chickens..
She is responding very well to training and loves her daily hikes around the countryside where she now lives..
Loves her new routine and surroundings..
Loves digging up moles hills (0% success rate I’m pleased to add) and always comes home with a dirty nose!

She is clean in the house, good on the lead and friendly with other dogs.
She travels well in the car and is crate trained.
Finker would make a loving, loyal, fun, family dog.

hi helen
just to say a big thanks to you geoff and jane for sorting out everthing for us to get monty,
hes such a sweetheart and though its only been a few days it feels hes been here longer as hes fitted in so
well,
he and molly are such partners in crime!!,they go everywhere
together closely followed by marley, they are all inseparatable.
Hopefully i’ll get some photos to you,no probs with the fence hes not even tried to jump even when birds or cats are sitting
on it,just runs up and barks, then its back to playing.
We’ve taken him
to the beach and each time hes got a little braver he goes in up to
his tummy now at first he didn’t want to dip his toe in!!Tomorrow we
might try him off the lead, theres a field completely fenced in,and he
so wants to run with the others, and hes quite good answering to his
name or is it the treats i have with me LOL.Well thanks again
with love and best wishes
mel, clive, andy, sarah & james and of course marley, molly and monty bates xxx

Hi Helen,

Jack arrived with us yesterday, Greig collected him and I came home with my two later,
you could see him visibly relaxing and settling as the day went by.
He and Freddie had a romp around, all a bit restricted due to the weather,
but they all appear to be getting on fine.
Ate his tea no problems, and was really good during the night,
had to go in once just after we put him to bed and then again some
time later, but I think that was due to a fox, as the others were up
and about, but he settled back down and was fine until we got up this
morning.
I took him out today as greig is out and walked with the group of dogs I walk with,
so I let him off and he was very good and soon learned to come back with the others and then on his own for
treats, I think he will be fairly easy to train, as he does like to please,
they are all settled now having a nap in various places around the house,
Will send you some pictures soon and another update.
Oh yes and seeing the vet tomorrow.

Buddy has now gone to his new home !!

Hi, my name is Buddy, I am having a good time staying here at Emma’s house with her dogs Daisy and Millie.
I get on fine with them though I wish they would play with me a bit more.
I am enjoying long walks on the lead.
[Wish the humans would release me so I could have a good run but they seem to think I might wander off or chase something furry!. Not sure why!!]
I cant complain about the food here though I am still trying to persuade the other dogs here to share theirs with me too.
Not having much luck so far. I am enjoying lots of cuddles with the humans here. I am learning new tricks each day.
I can do sit and leave it now. I can walk on my back legs too!! Watch out for me next year on Britain’s Got Talent.
The only downside is the ridiculous coat they bought me last weekend.
Apparently I look like Basil Brush! Boom Boom!
Anyway back to have a kip on the Sofa…. I mean rug.
Only 2 hours till tea!!

Speak soon

Pie ( a.k.a Frankie )

Rehomed

progress update: 16/2/13

Good Morning Helen

We have just celebrated the second anniversary of Pie coming to live with us.
He is a little star, a smashing little guy with a lovely character.
You described him as being a little timid, but very friendly and you were absolutely right.
He loves to meet other dogs, but he is a little cautious when meeting ‘new humans’.
Quite right too !
We hope all is going well for D.A.W.G. and we look forward to meeting you again at the Tiptoe Dog Show.

With best wishes ………………..

Cleansure carpet cleaning.

Not only does Phil do a grand job cleaning the carpets after lots
of dog and human traffic has left them less then clean but he also
loves dogs and always brings a couple of large bags of food for the rescue dogs.
