Happy New Year !!

Happy New Year to everyone.
Thank you for your support during the year.

Thank you to
those that donate monthly via paypal,
the donations we have been given during the year to help look after the dogs in our care,
those of you that adopted one of our lovely dogs,
helped with fundraising,
our marvellous foster families,
Jane who is joint admin of this Facebook page and does so much more than this,
those volunteers who have walked the dogs
and the kind people who have donated food, blankets etc.
Thank you to Mark who does a marvellous job in hosting the website and keeping it up to date.
He also very kindly pays for it every year to stay online.

Thank you to The Pirates of Poole who recently presented us with a cheque for £500.
The Pirates of Poole are a lovely group of pirates who raise £1000’s of pounds each year for local charities and we had a lovely evening with them on the night of the presentation.

And last but certainly not least a huge thank you to the vets who help us during the year. The wonderful teams at Medivet Out of Hours, Afrivet, Vets4Pets Bournemouth, Natterjacks and Magnolia House. How would we manage without you seeing us last minute with injured foxes and for looking after our dogs so well.

We hope that 2025 is a good year for all of you

Betty

update: 8/11/24

Dear Helen,

With great sorrow, I have to report that I have had to say goodbye to Betty.
Old age crept up and took her away.
Betty was the gentlest, most good-natured and happy little dog one could ever meet.
Being her owner for thirteen years was simply a delight – every second was brilliant with her by my side; therefore, I am so grateful to Helen and all those at DAWGdogs for allowing me the privilege of doing so.
Thank you very much.

Sam and Josh have both now found homes!!

progress update on Josh: 28/10/24

Josh has now found a home !!

progress update on Josh: 13/10/24

Lovely Josh has settled in so well into his foster home.
Lionel and Edna told me they would keep him if they were a little younger.
He is clean in the house, walks nicely on the lead and is just the perfect house guest.
Josh is 9 years old

We think Josh would prefer a home without another dog.
He gets on with other dogs and people and has settled really well into his foster home.

progress update on Sam: 13/10/24

Sam has now found a home

Lovely Sam who recently went to live with Peggy Sue, another DAWGdog, has settled in so well.
The two of them have an acre of land to play in as well as forest walks.
Lovely to see these photos of the two of them.

Sam ( lighter colour) and Josh ( darker colour) have been handed into the Rescue due to their lady’s health.
They are Standard Longhaired Daschunds.
Both around 8 to 9 years old .

A MASSIVE thank you to Alison and her team at Everything Pets in Hordle !
