Hi Helen I’m long overdue with an update on Sally.
She has been with us for over 8 years now and will be 11 at Christmas.
She is just the best dog ever and I still look at her sometimes even after all this time and can’t believe she’s ours!
She’s such a loyal little dog who always gives us such a lovely welcome even if we’ve literally just popped out to the car to get something!
She still loves her walks especially the beach ones and has lots of great holidays with us in Devon and Dorset.
Her favourite place of all is Weymouth because every time we have to take her to the toilet she gets to play on the sand!
She does spend more time sleeping now {as the photos show} but in between has lots of energy.
She still manages to leap onto all the beds no problem!
We all love her so much- the best dog in the universe!
Best wishes, Marion.

DAWGdog Rex (aka Kerry re-homed) update:-
One of our fosterers was on a canal holiday in Oxford and quite by chance came across DAWGdog Rex and his owner!!
Rex spends a lot of the year living on a boat on the canal.
Lucky chap!

Leo is a 13 month old Collie, good with dogs and children.
He came from a family who felt they couldn’t give him the time he needed.
He has settled in well and is good off the lead.
Just a friendly and happy boy.

Ludo has been with us a few days and has settled in very well, he is such a sweet good natured boy who loves to be around people and will do anything for a cuddle or a game of football.
Ludo is clean in the house quiet in his crate at night and travels well in the car, he can be a bit boisterous at times and needs some work with his lead walking but he is a very quick learner and just wants to please, he really is a wonderful dog and great fun

Ludo has just arrived at the Rescue and is looking for a home – he’s about 8 months old and of medium size,
more to follow as he settles in his foster home

Louis has been the perfect house guest since he arrived a few days ago,
he likes a fuss but he also likes his own space and loves nothing better than pottering around the garden whilst keeping a close eye on whatever I am doing,
he has coped very well with my busy household considering his previous home was much quieter and he is happily living with my 3 dogs.
Louis enjoys his walks but is not going to be a dog who requires anything more than a couple of short walks a day,
he really would prefer to put his feet up on the sofa or lie in the garden.

This is Louis a 10 year old Lhasa Apso
He has come into the Rescue as his elderly owner is moving and is unable to take him with him, he is vaccinated neutered and chipped,
Louis has never lived with young children so would suit a household where the children are of an older age,
more info will follow once Louis has settled in with us.

Kevin was an unclaimed stray.
He is young probably 2 years old.
Kevin has settled in very well with Pauline who is fostering him.
He is friendly chap with a tail that wags in excitement when he meets you.
Not sure what he would be like with cats as Pauline doesn’t have one but I would say a cat free home.

Lucy and Domino’s owner has passed away and they were taken in by a couple.
Unfortunately, the lady has developed an allergy to their fur and can longer keep them.
We are looking for a home together for Lucky and Domino as they have spent all their life together.
They are older dogs.
Lucky is the black female lab cross and Domino is the black and white male spaniel cross.
They are both up to date with their jabs.
Have a wonderful temperment, love children and are surprisingly good with cats.
