Prizes needed !

Can you help us by donating any prizes for our annual DAWGdogs Fun Day Dog Show to be held on Sunday, 2nd September?
We need Auction Lots and Raffle Prizes, also bottles for the Bottle Stall.
(Auction lots need to be in by the 18th August)
We won’t need any more bric a brac as we had so much last year that there is still plenty left for this year’s show too!

If you can help, please contact Helen on 01202 380467 or Kate on 07990 614091.
Also if you would like a stall, please contact either Helen or Kate.
Thank you all for your continued support and generosity!!

Come and help us raise money all this month at Pets At Home in Branksome!

Thank you Ellen for baking lots of delicious cakes this weekend, much appreciated by Pets at Home customers!
We still have just over a week to go fundraising at Pets at Home Branksome so please do come to support the Rescue by buying a scratch card or two.
And to all our lovely cake makers we will still be needing lots of cakes for the next week if anyone can help!

Kizzie

Kizzie has now found a home !!

Kizzie had her dental on Monday and unfortunately all her teeth were in such bad state they had to be extracted.
Didn’t stop her wanting her dinner when she came home later that day.
She is a different dog now much brighter in herself and not in pain anymore.

Kizzie arrived this week and has been helping us fundraise at Pets at Home.
She has enjoyed all the attention she has received there.

Kizzie is 9 years old and a Whippet Lurcher.
Her teeth are in a terrible state and infected so she is into the vet on Monday for a full dental.
She is a quiet, gentle girl and gets on with the other dogs here and everyone she has met at Pets at Home.

More on her progress as she settles in

Scout

REHOMED !!

progress update: 24/06/2018

Here’s my lovely furry son Scout who we adopted back in 2014.
It’s his 4th birthday today…well we’ve decided it’s his birthday as we don’t actually know.
He’s such a funny, loving boy.
Life would be much duller…though distinctly less hairy…without him.
Thank you for rescuing him and thank you for letting us have him.

Benny

REHOMED !!

progress update: 27/06/2018

Just quick message to let you know Benny is still going strong all these years later!
He has a lot more white hairs (haven’t we all?!) and a couple of inches on the waistline, but still happy, loving, and loved every single day since you brought him here to his forever home from Tralee.
We can never thank you enough
Love, light and happy tailwags Helen!
