Tess and Meg

REHOMED!

progress update: 25/3/14

Hi Helen

Just to update you on how I am getting on. I am now coming up to 16 years old I think.
You rescued me from the pound 3 1/2 years ago when somebody left me tied to a park bench and I went to my foster home with Carol and Steve.
They fell in love with me and I have been there ever since, with my other Dawgdog friend Meg.
I am getting a bit wobbly now and my back legs don’t always do what I want, so I can’t do long walks anymore, but I still enjoy my walks and still manage to run after the balls in the field, I try to get there before Meg, she is younger and faster, but when she sees me coming she usually lets me have it.
I love it when the grandchildren come to visit, they always drop food, which I manage to catch and they love to cuddle and brush me, they have even taken me to school to meet their classroom friends and teachers, I had a great time, lots of attention.
I have added some up to date photos of myself and also Meg having a run in the field with the ball and as you can see I am enjoying old age.

Thanks
Tess

Hi Helen

Just a photo and update on Tess.

Tess has settled in really well, and loves her walks and running after the ball in the field. She has made herself very at home and let Meg and Busie know that she is an old lady and is the boss, they have learnt to respect that and let her get to the ball and anything else she wants first.
She is so gentle and always greets us with a waggy tail, she is really good with the foster dogs that come and stay, and she loves the grandchildren especially when they are eating and drop food on the floor, she is the first to help me clear up.

We are so glad that we can give her the love and cuddles she deserves in her old age.

Regards

Carol

Tess has now found a permanent home

with her foster parents Carol and Steve!!

Tess is 8-9 years old and a Collie mix who was left tied to a park bench.
This is her enjoying herself at Sandbanks beach she is a complete water baby and she gets on very well with dogs and people.
She is no trouble in the house settling down at night to sleep ,doesn’t mind being left for a few hours and is fantastic off the lead.
She really deserves a home that will love and appreciate her gentle nature.
