Jesse

REHOMED
progress updates: 24/11/10

hi helen , just a quick note to let you know that jessie has settled well , her and baz get along very well.
At the moment they are a good destruction team.
Jessie defuzzes the tennis balls and baz chews up what ever is left lol!

Hi Helen,
jessie has settled well , baz and her get on very well.
its nice to see baz play , he doesnt really get much choice
as jessie can be relentless in her task to get him to play.
now he even starts the play ! Because of my limited mobility
i now have a scooter and they love running along side it
they are absolutly worn out when they get home . will send
some pics when i get a new camera .

thanks for the chance of having two wonderful dogs

Jesse has now found a home !!

Jessie has not long arrived.
We have already been for a rather wet walk and already her and our dog Basil have had a mad ten minutes running and playing the length of the living room.
She is a wire haired JRT about 9 months old.
She is very friendly and has just met our cat; she is interested and curious but not too forceful with her.

Sadly Marley passed away yesterday.

He had become terminally ill

and even with the very best of care was not improving.

Marley loves to go skateboarding, he is very fast !!

Marley is a 7 year old Staffie
who has been at the rescue for a while now and would love a new home.

He likes to carry his lead when on walks!

If you are able to offer a home to Marley, please contact

Coco

Coco has now found a home !!

progress update: 7/11/10

Hi Helen,

Just thought I would send you an update and a few pictures of Coco and my gang, first off she is still doing very well with her socialising outside with other dogs, she’s wonderful in the house and her playful character has really started to show itself, she loves a game of tug or a chase with the ball, she’s very happy to hand over any of her toys and shows no possessive behaviour at all this also includes her food so she really is a sweetie, her favourite evening pastime is to curl up on any available lap, which even includes my husband much to his delight, she also loves her cuddles and hands out plenty of kisses in return.

Regards
Niki

progress update from Niki

IN THE HOUSE
Quiet and Clean
Happy to go in her Crate
Quiet all night

WALKING
Pulls on the lead but getting better
Seemed to have very little social skills regarding other dogs, but has come on leaps and bounds, can still be a bit iffy with certain dogs if they get in her face, ie she can have a little snap, but is happy to greet and walk on.
No off lead work done as yet, but she adores my girls and is very keen to be part of the gang

IN THE CAR
As good as gold sits in her crate on the back seat and enjoys looking out of the window.

She has been an absolute delight to have around, she adores the company of the other dogs particularly Tilly, and they have become firm friends, she is benefiting a huge amount from being with the girls, especially on our walks.
We have met many dogs over the last few days and she is becoming more confident and doesn’t feel the need to defend herself first, she’s now happy to have a sniff and be nice.

Personality-wise she’s very sweet and we have all come to adore her, she’s a feisty little character typical terrier; the first night here she had a grumble at my 13 year old when he tried to move her, so she was removed from the sofa and put in her place, it has’nt happened again so shes
willing to listen to what she’s being told, shes also happy to give up things that she’s not supposed to have.

Honey

Honey will be going to her new home today!

Honey 16 week old baby girl dog.
Dachshund Cross Jack Russel
Honey has settled in very well. She is fantastic with our three children and very loving.
She is also very obedient – Walks exceptionally well on the lead, waits for her feet to be dried by the front door and we now let honey off her lead and have no problems getting her back on again.
Honey has now become much more playful, like a puppy should be!
She likes to think she is a German Shepherd, and it’s been hard breaking the bad news that she won’t grow quite that big!
Honey has calm nature, she will come to our petshop for the day and enjoy greeting people and getting lots of fuss, she is on minimum doggy wage at the moment, this will of course increase with experience!
Honey is totally clean around the house and will adapt well in a loving new home. She is absolutely gorgeous.
I will keep you up to date on the fun and frolics to follow!!

Jerry

progress update: 13/11/10

Jerry has now been rehomed !

progress update from Jane: 7/11/10
Jerry has been with us one week now and is so chilled you would have thought he’d been here forever.
Jerry is a very friendly, handsome boy. A real gentle giant.
He’s good with other dogs and this morning he went off the lead for the first time.
Ozzie did his usual trick of rounding Jerry up if he went too far! They had a good game of chasing sticks.
Jerry is strong on the lead but he is very good with a halti. Jerry will make a lovely family dog.

Jerry, 7 month old tri-colour collie mix – a very handsome boy. Friendly with other dogs.

Jerry has now found home !

Mac

progress update: 5/11/10

Mac has now found a home !!

progress update: 1/11/10

I am now staying with Jeff and his 5 dogs and I reckon I get on quite well here.
There is a horse who takes no prisoners so I behave myself around him.
I go to the pub every evening with Jeff for a pint and socialising and I am getting to know the locals who think I am a fine and friendly chap.
As I am the size of a Labrador and not one of those giant type dogs you see hogging the sofa I fit on Jeff’s bed with two of his other dogs, not sure how much room is left for Jeff but he doesn’t complain.
I have met new people who have visited Jeff and have behaved myself and acted like a real gent.
I originally came from France so I am bi-lingual but no-one at the pub speaks French so I chat in English.

Mac is a six year old labrador/ridgeback/ beagle cross (quite a mix).
He is very affectionate and loves walks in the forest.
When he first arrived he wasnt quite sure how to approach the other dogs in his foster home but he has chilled out now and likes to play with them.
He loves his food and has to watch his weight a little.
He takes the opportunity of exploring the neighbourhood should anyone leave a door ajar but can be coaxed back with the promise of a ride in a car!
He can sit, lie down and even do high five.
He is also good at recall when he feels like it.
His beauty regime involves plunging in water and rolling in dirt straight afterwards.
He maintains this keeps him looking dapper.
We are all enjoying having him to stay, he is a great dog and will make a loving pet for the right person.

Mac has now found a home

Jeeves The Cat

Jeeves needs a home!

Hi all, my name is Jeeves, I’m an Irish guy, good looking as you can see, & willing to travel.
I’m under year old so they tell me, but all I know for sure is that I’m super friendly, lap friendly you might say !, & I’m house trained.
They got me neutered & vaccinated & I’m slowly forgiving them for that, so I’m really looking for a new digs, where I can show you what a super cat I am.
