This is the lovely puppy Bear who I am fostering at the moment.
He’s is a gorgeous little pup who loves to play as well as cuddle.
He managed to sneak up on the sofa with Taylor yesterday to watch frozen.
He’s has been clean through the night and only a couple of little accidents in the house.
He sleeps downstairs with our other two and only woke to tell us to take him outside.
He is lovely natured and very cute as well

If you may be able to offer a home or would like more details

please contact Helen directly on:

We usually only rehome within approx. 50 miles of the Bournemouth / Poole area
so that we can ensure the continued well-being of the dogs in our care.
We will only rehome further afield if the homes are exceptional.
We are NOT looking for just ANY home that is offered.
All potential homes will be assessed to try and ensure the best possible home
to cater for the differing needs of each individual dog that we rescue

Alfie

progress update: 20/06/2014

Alfie has now found a home !!

Unfortunately, the lady Alfie went to live with has had a fall and cannot keep him.
So, he is now looking for a home again.
Below is one of his updates from the home he went to live in and who cannot keep him any longer.
We would like to home him straight from the home he is presently in so he doesn’t have too much disruption.

Helen,

Happy to say that Alfie has settled down really well.
He is such an affectionate little fellow.
At first he was a little bit scared of people but when he gets to know them he’s really pleased to see them. Still pulls a bit on the lead but is gradually slowing down.
The one thing which he is scared of is traffic but I’m working on that.
He loves playing with a tennis ball and rolling around on the lawn
As you can see, he has taken over the bed with his favourite toy.
Don’t you think he looks smart in his new harness?

He loves every one and everything, dogs and humans alike, travels well, sleep quietly in his crate at night, this little chap has a rough start and is now looking for lots of love and fuss, could use a little refresher on training

Alfie is turning out to be a loyal faithful little chap who just need his very own person to dote on and love and he will give it back in bucketfuls

Nero ( a.k.a Zero the dalmation X with no spots )

progress update: 03/06/2014

NERO THE DASTARDLY DOG!

Many of the dogs we have in foster homes commit dastardly deeds such as chewing up shoes and phone chargers, scratching doors and nicking items of washing to drag around the garden.
Zero’s parting shot the evening before going to his new home may even beat Mutley’s most dastardly deed.

This is what he did :-

Geoff had been out for his teatime meet up and drink with his friends that hold Parliament at the Pub.
Later on feeling warm inside and a little tired after a hard day looking after six dogs and a horse plus a couple of hours spent deciding how the country should be run, he fell asleep on the chair in the kitchen.
On waking up he rubbed his face and realised to his surprise that his false eye had fallen out !!
He looked all around the floor before he found something in Zero’s bed that was once Geoff’s false eye but no longer something he would want to put back in, as it was now to say the least, not quite the right shape with a few bits of it missing and covered in slobber !!

The Doctor on being told this tale of woe said he had heard of dogs eating homework but never an eye.
Geoff is now awaiting delivery of a new one…..

Worzel

progress update: 20/06/2014

Worzel has now found a home !!

Newly arrived three siblings ( Alfie, Worzel and Mollie ) who are six months old.
They are smallish dogs and a general mixture of allsorts of dogs.
Lovely characters who have fitted in straight away and taken in good humour being chased and generally bombarded by Willow, Bear, Timmy and Dolly.

Blossom

progress update: 17/05/2014

Young Blossom has come on in leaps and bounds since coming to stay with me,
she absolutely loves going for walks and has great recall.
She can be shy when first meeting people but soon comes around.
Blossom is about 6 months old.

Gypsy

Gypsy has now found a home !!

progress update: 10/05/2014

Gypsy is the sweetest of dogs you could ask for.
Very loyal, good with children and other dogs.
She Loves walks, cuddles, and playing. Very good on lead and off.
Gypsy is good when left at home, doesn’t chew or mess.
I sometimes find her the otherside of the stair gate when I get home and always very pleased to see you. Think she might be good at agility.
She sleeps all night and is clean. When Brian gets up at 5.15am she doesn’t even get out off bed any more and goes back to sleep till about 6.30/7am when I get up to walk them.
My young boys adore her, they are 5 and 7 years old.
She can be cheeky if food is left on the table and you go out of the room, she will jump up and take it (as my 17 year old daughter found out with her sandwich!)

progress update: 04/05/2014

Hi, my name is Gypsy.
I arrived on Monday and immediately became great friends with Pippin who I rolled and played with for an hour.
I love all dogs though Cara wasn’t quite so loving at first…… I have heard from the others that she can be a bit like this.
I soon won her over and now she puts up with me.
I love playing but never force myself on anyone who doesn’t want to play I am a polite girl.
I like children too. I had my first walk off the lead today and boy did I have a good run with Hope chasing her round and round in circles.
Helen says that I am her sort of dog and she was most reluctant to let me go to Kim’s.
Kim’s husband will be pleased when he learns that I am quiet when left, clean in the house and I don’t chew everyone’s belongings up.
I am to have a photo shoot in the next few days with Stephanie, I hope she isn’t expecting me to be nude I am NOT that sort of girl !!

Rockley who loves to howl

Rockley has now found a home !!

Cookie the lurcher x

progress update: 17/05/2014

Cookie has now found a home !!

Cookie arrived last week from the pound and it is quite impossible to believe how this sweet natured little girl ended up there in the first place.
Cookie is gentle, slightly nervous at first but growing in confidence every day.
She is clean in the house and doesn’t pull on the lead.
Cookie is quiet at night and is crate trained.
The thing Cookie loves best is to curl up for a cuddle.
She know’s “no” and is very obedient.
Probably best in a home with older children due to her nervousness.
Please consider giving this beautiful lady a home, she will reward you with nothing but love and loyalty.
Cookie is a Lurcher mix and about 2 years old.

Charlie and Lizzie

Charlie and Lizzie are both happily rehomed

progress update: 04/05/2014

Hi Helen,
I thought I would send a photo and update on Charlie & Lizzie.

We got Lizzie from you in June 2008 when she was approximately 4 months old and Charlie came to us from you in February 2010 when he was approximately the same age.
They are such a complete joy to have and are so well behaved and quickly settled in to our home.

I started taking them to agility training a few years ago and from day one they both fell in love with it, ( to be honest it isn’t just them that loves it)
It is truly the only thing that completely wears them both out.
This photo was taken today after an agility competition in Newbury.
It shows Lizzie with two 3rd place rosettes and a clear round rosette.
Don’t be fooled by the empty space in front of Charlie, he ran his big heart out today and deserves a “I tried really hard” rosette, boy, did he have fun today.

We want to thank you Helen for letting us adopt two of the most amazing dogs we have ever had the pleasure to have in our lives.
We know that they are happy and we could never imagine life without them.

Thanks again
Tracey and Andy and of course Lizzie and Charlie xx
